Dr. Pancras NDOKOYE
Advisor to the Executive Commitee
Dr. Pancras is the Advisor to the Executive Committee and he provides strategic guidance, technical expertise and professional support to strengthen organizational governance, leadership, partnerships, and institutional development within SEI.
Dr. Pancras Ndokoye is a professional environmentalist, academic, researcher, and administrative expert with extensive experience in environmental management, research, lecturing, project coordination, and institutional leadership. With a strong background in sustainable development and environmental conservation, he has demonstrated expertise in project planning and management, monitoring and evaluation, policy implementation, proposal development, and strategic decision-making.
His professional work reflects a deep commitment to environmental sustainability, climate resilience, community development, and evidence-based solutions to contemporary environmental and socio-economic challenges. As an environmentalist by profession, Dr. Ndokoye has actively participated in several international and regional development projects focusing on environmental sustainability, water resource management, renewable energy, climate change adaptation, and agricultural development. He served as a Developer and Coordinator for the NEWW–Network for Labour-Market Oriented Education in Waste and Water Management for the Sub-Saharan Region funded by the German Government through Oldenburg University, Germany.
He also worked as a Developer and Deputy Coordinator in the NISHATI Project, which focused on strengthening capacities in water, renewable energy, and agriculture to improve resilience to climate change in Africa under European Union funding. In addition, he contributed as a Member and Environmental and Social Safeguards Specialist in the Centre of Excellence in Agriculture and Gastronomy project funded by the German Government.
Dr. Ndokoye possesses strong competencies in conducting and supervising research, academic writing and publication, teaching and training, environmental impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, and institutional administration. His multidisciplinary experience, leadership abilities, analytical skills, and dedication to professional excellence position him as a valuable contributor to academic institutions, research organizations, environmental programs, and sustainable development initiatives. He remains committed to promoting environmental stewardship, research innovation, and transformative education for sustainable societal development.
