Concorde KUBWIMANA

Executive Director

Mr. Concorde KUBWIMANA is the Founder and Executive Director of the Save Environment Initiative (SEI). He is an Environmental Economist specializing in Natural Resource Management and Environmental Economics.

He holds a Master of Science in Environmental Economics and Natural Resources Management and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management and Conservation. Through his academic and professional experience, he has contributed to environmental restoration and conservation initiatives.

Under his leadership, SEI has implemented environmental restoration, tree planting, environmental education, and community capacity-building programs across Rwanda. He is also a published researcher and lead author of the study Ecological Restoration Outcomes in Rwanda’s Rugezi Wetland: Biodiversity Indices and Food Web Recovery, which examined the ecological recovery of Rwanda’s Rugezi Wetland and highlighted improvements in biodiversity, water quality, and ecosystem resilience following restoration interventions.
