Mrs. Josiane NIYONSENGA is the Co-founder and Programs manager of the Save Environment Initiative (SEI). Mrs.  Josiane is encouraged woman fighting for what she desires and believes in. she strives to become an outstanding and successful woman in today’s society. She has a certification in wildlife management and a bachelor's degree in environmental management and conservation. Driven by her passion for environmental protection, Josiane decided to further her education by pursuing a Master's degree in Environmental Economics and Natural Resources Management. This field of study addressing persistent issues such as climate changes, loss of biodiversity, and resource depletion and it is essential for developing effective and sustainable solutions to environmental challenges.

Beside her academic pursuits, she worked in mining company as environmentalist where she is integrating environmental stewardship with economic objectives to create a more sustainable and responsible approach to resource extraction. In addition, to achieve her goal to advocate for the protection and preservation of the natural environment, Josiane as programs manager stretch her Contribution to environmental education programs by volunteering in schools, nature centres, or community events, tree planting programs, especially during designated planting seasons, Participate in or organize community clean ups to remove plastics, litter and debris from wetland and urban areas. From the beginnings of her environmental activism, she discovered that bringing about change necessitates not only strategic thinking, innovation, and persistence but passion. In this journey as an environmental protector, the challenges are immense, and the road ahead is arduous, but the urgency of her mission propels her forward. She believes that every action, no matter how small, contributes to the effective change for fostering sustainable future.
